Fire that destroyed three homes under construction early today (Friday) appears to be the work of a radical environmentalist group, officials said. Fire officials declined to confirm reports that the fires were started by members of the Earth Liberation Front, but a hand-lettered banner and a timing device reportedly were discovered.
