Sparrowfoot Fire and Rescue Team With USST

The United States Super Truck Series signs Sparrowfoot as their safety team for the remaining races of their series.

Altus,OK-Sparrowfoot Fire and Rescue Inc. team up with the United States Super Truck (USST) racing series. The Rapid Race Rescue emergency vehicle appeared in its home state Saturday night at the Altus Speedway in Altus, Oklahoma. The truck could be seen at turn four on the front straightway for the crowd to see. Fortunately, the truck did not have to respond to intervene in any racing related accident.

The United States Super Truck racing series, headquarted in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma comes to the close of a very successful first year in their racing circuit. With four races left in the series, Sparrowfoot will lend it's support in providing superior fire rescue within their racing league. Sparrowfoot Fire and Rescue are provideing their services free of charge, as they would with any racing circuit. The USST race vehicles are very simular to the Rapid Race Rescue, as they are both Super Trucks, with 600 plus horsepower high reeving small blocks. It's an interesting parallel some observers noticed. The next USST race will be held at the Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas.
