Nolbert Brown, Jr., Gospel Stage Play Director, Writer, and Producer selected as the Director of the 2004 Hollywood Insider's Gospel Music Awards on February 21st thru Feb. 22, 2004, at the Globe Theater, Universal Studio, California.

The Hollywood Insiders's Gospel Music Awards, founded by Diane Blackmon, of DBB Broadcasting, Inc., recognizes the outstanding contributions and accomplishments of artists, entertainers and legends in the Gospel Industry has unanimously selected Nolbert Brown, Jr., Suntan Entertainment and C.E.O. of Suntan School of Theater to direct their 2004 Hollywood Gospel Insider Music Awards.

Mr. Brown was selected after reviewing his professional career of directing, producing and writing over 19 stage plays. Ms. Blackmon, founder of the Hollywood Gospel Insider Music Awards and C.E.O. of her Flagship Gospel Insider Weekend Radio show reaches over 125 markets and has over 5 million listeners. Mr. Brown, the award winning playwrite and director, has written and directed over 19 stage plays, said "It is an honor to be selected to direct the 2004 Hollywood Gospel Music Awards". Some of Mr. Brown's top plays in America include, "Cabin In The Sky"; "Remake of Bubbling Brown Sugar"; " The Life Story of Jackie Wilson"; "The Mahalia Jackson Story"; "Jesus Saves My Two Sons"; "God Gave Me The Voice To Sing"; "A Good Man Is Hard To Find"; and the now touring stage play, "Real Women Pray". Nolbert Brown, Jr., C.E.O., Suntan Entertainment and Suntan School of Theater, has created a stage play for each of his 19 years in business.

He is credited with his colleagues for his creative script writing and bringing forth the character of "George" Jefferson, played by Sherman Hensley, to the set of "All In The Family", played by Archie Bunker.

Mr. Brown is currently working on a new play, entitled: "Beneath A Man's Heart Lies Jesus" and an urban Soap Opera, "Chocolate City", coming soon to a local network. In 2004, Mr. Brown will again produce a new play on the life of one of the greatest Mowtown legends, "Marvin Gaye", entitled, "Silky Silk Soul Singer". Due to the popularity of the original stage play "Real Women Pray", plans are in process for writing and producing a "Real Women Pray-Part Two" theatrical production.

Nolbert Brown, Jr.,and Suntan Entertainment's plan is to create a Gospel Award show that will be remembered by all. According to Mr. Brown, "It is individuals like Diane Blackmon that provide opportunities to help recognize, preserve and support the contributions of the Gospel Music Industry.
