2004 World SWAT Conference and Championship To Be Held at Blackwater USA

Blackwater USA partners with OnTarget Communications and the Virginia Beach Police Department to hold the first truly "World" SWAT Conference and Championship from May 17-22, 2004.

Never before in the history of the world has there been such a need for men and women who can respond effectively to our most critical incidents. Blackwater USA, the world's largest firearms training facility has put together a conference to meet that need that is unlike any other before it. Four tracks will be offered: Executive, Weapons, Tactics, and Sniper. The three-day conference will begin each morning with a 90-minute presentation from noted experts in resolving hostage situations, suicide bomber profiling, and the psychology of operating and surviving critical incidents. Following each presentation, there will be lectures by world-renowned operators, followed by live-fire application on our state-of-the-art ranges and shoot houses. The conference will conclude with a dinner where Assistant to the President and Homeland Security Advisor General John Gordon will be the keynote speaker.

Following the conference, the invitation-only competition begins. Twenty teams from all over the globe will compete. Teams from every continent, the military, and US domestic teams will demonstrate their SWAT skills and the event will be televised on ESPN. Over 200 vendors will also be present to demonstrate the latest in SWAT gear and technology.

Go to www.worldswatchallenge.com to learn more and sign up for the conference, and remember...

TRAIN HARD! Or don't train at all.
