RainbowLight.net Begins Inclusion Of Diffraction Grating Attachment With Rainbow-making Lamp
The attachment of a diffraction grating onto the rainbow-projecting lamp permits numerous possibilities for color projection, in addition to a large rainbow.
RainbowLight.net recently announced the addition of an attachment to its rainbow-making lamp that greatly enhances its effects. This attachment, made by Rainbow Symphony in Reseta, California, takes the refracted light from the prism of the Rainbow Light, and further diffracts the light into colored patterns.
The conglomeration of the lamp and diffraction grating creates prismatic effects that can be altered into many forms, by turning the prism and sliding the lid with the diffraction grating attached.
This is a breakthrough for this product, because now there are numerous ways to cast varying patterns of spectral color. The colors really jump off the walls," says Blake Ebersole, who markets the Rainbow Light for his father Glenn, its inventor and patentholder.
