Napco Highlights RAINBOW Film Products at Saudi Agriculture 2003

Saudi-based manufacturing group, Napco, will promote its RAINBOW Horticultural & Agricultural Films at Saudi Agriculture 2003 (Stand #827) in Riyadh from 28 September through 2 October.

Dammam, Saudi Arabia (PRWEB) September 25, 2003 -- Saudi-based manufacturing group, Napco, will promote its RAINBOW Horticultural & Agricultural Films at Saudi Agriculture 2003 (Stand #827) in Riyadh from 28 September through 2 October.

The premiere product line to be displayed is a range of polyethylene-based greenhouse covers, which are extruded in up to 3 layers and available in up to 14-meter width. Napco's stand will feature a greenhouse model, complete with multi-season film samples in varying thicknesses, additive combinations (IR, EVA, UV stabilizer, UV absorber, anti-fog, anti-virus, and light diffusion), and filters for natural bee pollination and protection of red roses.

In addition to greenhouse covers, the RAINBOW line includes mono-layer and co-extruded mulch film, environmentally friendly soil disinfection films, low tunnel film, silage film, reflective ground cover, hydroponic gully film, and open-mouth or form-fill-seal (FFS) bags for packing horticultural materials, such potting soil and peat moss.

Issam Chaaya, General Manager of Napco Modern Plastics Products Company, explains, "We've been able to refine our films as a result of 15 years of experience with Middle Eastern and North African climate conditions and crop requirements. Our films are used for both protected and open-field cultivation, and we're expanding into films for hydroponic cultivation. We're also developing more environmentally friendly alternatives to products, such as regular fumigation film, which harm the environment."

In addition to Napco Modern in Dammam, RAINBOW films are produced by United Plastics Products Company in Jeddah. The comprehensive product line was originally developed by the Agriculture Research Center of Masterpak s.a.l., a sister company based in Lebanon.
