Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas will host the first authentic Oktoberfest in Las Vegas on October 10th with the restaurant's Pre-Opening to take place in December.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) September 25, 2003 -- In 2000 Stefan Gastager, upon a visit to Las Vegas, had a vision. To introduce high quality Bavarian Food, Premium Beer brewed in Bavaria and Bavarian coziness „Gemütlichkeit to the United States at a location that would both appeal to tourists and locals alike. Together with his partners Klaus Gastager, Franz Krondorfer and Anton Sinzger they decided to build a Hofbräuhaus.

Las Vegas, the leading entertainment capital of the world, was chosen as the ideal location for the Hofbräuhaus because of both the highest number of tourists in the world (over 35 million annually) and a local multicultural population of over 1.4 million residents. After three years of planning and hard work the vision turned into reality. They decided to create an authentic replica of the Munich Hofbräuhaus that was originally commissioned in 1589 by Duke William V.

Stefan and his partners were able to secure the license from the Bavarian Government Brewery Hofbräu and a perfect partner for the necessary investment of almost 12 Million Dollars in the BVT Unternehmensgruppe in Munich, an independent finance company with international experience, numerous project developments in the USA and special knowledge of the American way of life. The architects building the Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas followed the original designs in every aspect and created a truly authentic piece of Bavarian culture. HBavaria LLC as the managing general partner of the BVT HBavaria L.P. (owner of the HB Las Vegas) is convinced that with the Grand Opening the Hofbräuhaus will be a major attraction for both tourists and locals in Las Vegas.

The genuine full scale reproduction of Munichs most famous attraction will become the first authentic German/Bavarian Restaurant in Las Vegas. For tourists as well as Las Vegas residents the Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas offers exquisite Bavarian Cuisine, imported Bavarian Beer and Bavarian culture in an unusual atmosphere.

The goal to be as authentic as possible and enjoy the Bavarian lifestyle in Las Vegas dictates that meat and sausage products will be produced exclusively for the Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas according to special HB recipes. On the 66,000 sq ft property a beer hall, beer garden and bar with approximately 19,000 sq ft and room for 800 guests will be built. The Schwemme" the main beer hall" with its capacity of 380 persons, columns, painted ceilings and historical interior just like the Hofbräuhaus in Munich will present itself as the historical heart" of the Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas. Original Bavarian bands which will be flown in from Munich and alternated every 4-6 weeks will ensure atmospheric ambience at the Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas.

With its capacity of 430 seats the BIERGARTEN (beer garden) offers in addition to the fascinating beer garden culture further special features. Not under the open sky, but in an artificially created outside atmosphere can one permanently enjoy the white-blue Bavarian sky. Beer garden 365 days a year is a Bavarian dream! Since chestnut trees are a very important part of a real beer garden the exact leaves for the trees of the beer garden were found after a four months extensive research in China.
