Christians Coming Out of the Closet

Christians from throughout the Pittsburgh area are coming out of the closet on September 25th and standing up for God.

Pittsburgh, PA -- For too long Christians have sat in silence while God has been removed from every facet of society and replaced with vile treachery.

The federal courts and the Supreme Court of our nation have stripped away prayer, Bible reading, and the Ten Commandments from our schools. God has been expelled from school and banished from the school yard. He has been replaced with policemen, metal detectors, condoms, drugs, and violence of unprecedented order. The result has been disastrous! No longer will we sit idly by while this court fabricates outrageous decisions like Roe v. Wade and Lawrence v. Texas finding abortion and homosexual sodomy in the Constitution.

On Thursday morning, September 25, 2003, at 11:15 A.M. Christians from throughout the Pittsburgh area will gather in the plaza at the Federal Building, 1000 Liberty Avenue downtown. Pastors and local leaders will convene an Ecclesiastical Court service and hold the Supreme Court of the United States of America in contempt of the Court of the King of Kings. We will read the charges against the court and the judgments of Almighty God. We will tear the pages from six abominable decisions and give them to our children to tear into pieces and throw them in a garbage can. We will then set the contents of these abominable decisions on fire and hold them not binding upon us, our children, or our nation.

It is time for us to make our theology biography in the City of Pittsburgh." says Joseph Parente, Director of Rescue Pittsburgh. "We will stand in the public square and declare that God is God, and there is no other. Before Him every knee will bow."
