Today is the official site launch of http://www.wesley-clark-president.com. This website will show why Wesley Clark has the personal, fiscal, and policy discipline to be our next President--traits sorely lacking in the current Bush Administration.
Discipline, in all its forms and aspects, will be one of the key issues for the 2004 Presidential Campaign. Bill Clinton might have lacked personal discipline, but during his presidency, he turned a huge federal budget deficit into a large budget surplus during the largest period of economic expansion in American History. George Bush might have great personal discipline but is sorely lacking in fiscal & policy discipline. Wesley Clark has the personal, fiscal, and policy discipline to be a great President and that is why he should be the next President of the United States.

Current examples where the Bush administration lacks discipline:
• The Iraqi War initially went well but no viable exit strategy exists. Plus, who really knows how much money will need to be spent on the war? Does anyone really believe it will only cost $87 Billion?
• The moderate-sized Clinton Budget Surplus turned into the huge Bush Budget Deficit. This trend was evident well before 9/11 occurred and poorly-targeted tax cuts have made the problem much worse. Does anyone really believe that our huge deficit will come down in a few years?
• No coherent proposal exists to help create jobs in America and bring down unemployment.
• Nothing is being done to address the inevitable catastrophic fiscal train wrecks with Medicare and Social Security.

Wesley Clark will take direct and constructive action on these serious issues, unlike George Bush. Clark will bring to bear the same discipline and dedication to the presidency that he has shown in his service to the U.S. Military, to NATO, and to his private business. The United States Government needs to go on a strict regime of diet, exercise, and discipline and General Clark, as President, will whip Washington into shape.
Wesley Clark is also the only Democratic Candidate that can realistically beat George Bush in 2004.
