WHERE IS THE CITY OF SUCCESS?
A 125-year-old idea that helped build one of the worlds major corporations has sparked a present-day motivational sales tool for large and small companies.
While Charles Reichblum was doing research for a new book he was writing for the H.J.Heinz Company, he discovered that founder Henry J. Heinz, in the 1870s, constantly distributed to all his employees what Heinz called Important Ideas." Some were humorous; some were inspirational; all were educational and posted to motivate all his employees.
Heinz later attributed much of the success of his growing company to making sure that all the employees read the ideas." Reichblum thought the idea is as valid today as it was then.
Reichblum, called by radio talk-show hosts around the country as Dr. Knowledge," culled through thousands and thousands of sayings about success from ancient to current times, including some of Henry Heinzs ideas." Reichblum then complied 365 of what he considers some of the greatest thoughts to help employees do better at work and at home in "Knowledge in a Nutshell on Success," the fifth book in the "Knowledge in a Nutshell" series. Now all companies have a cost-effective (under $5.00 a copy) way to build team-spirit with a book that enlightens, educates and sparks employees enthusiasm and performance in their jobs.
Companies such as auto-dealers, manufacturers, wholesale distributors, insurance agencies, and an oil company have purchased the little book. The publisher places a sticker with the companys name on the front cover to further encourage employees participation and support of these thoughts.
