First Flight Gala - Party of the Century

Join New Jersey Aviation as we celebrate 100 Years of Powered Flight; a light program is planned; Two Bands (Swing & Jazz), Slide/Video Displays & Exhibits; Formal dinner; cash bar; an evening of socializing and remembrance at the beautiful Birchwood Manor in Whippany, NJ. Proceeds benefit the NJ Aviation Hall of Fame and Museum

The New Jersey Centennial Flight Committee will be hosting a Centennial of Flight celebration starting at 6:30 P.M. on the night of Weds, December 17. The event will be held at Birchwood Manor, 111 North Jefferson Road in Whippany, NJ between Routes 10 and 80.

The evening will feature two bands, the Jim Mosca jazz trio and The Star Dreamers, a full swing band. A full dinner menu will be served with a choice of entrée items. If your organization normally holds a holiday party, this is a great opportunity to share the spirit of the day with other friends of aviation.

Because of the likelihood that the event will sell out, the Committee advises that interested parties obtain tickets as soon as possible. Tickets at $75.00 per person or $135 per couple are available from MAAC, PO Box 155, Pluckemin, NJ 07978. Please make checks out to MAAC.
