Diana Berger has joined GDS as Director for Education Market Segment, a newly defined position that fully leverages her wealth of experience in K-12 technology. Ms. Berger holds a masters degree in Educational Technology and has 19 years of experience in the field, including nine years as a District Technology Director and three years as Director of Technology Integration for the Region One Education Service Center in Edinburg. Ms. Berger has served on numerous statewide committees and has implemented more than $50 million in technology-related grants and initiatives.
Teresa Cheney has joined GDS as Education Market Manager for the Western Region. Teresa comes to GDS from a competitor and has more than 15 years experience in the technology industry. Her focus for the Western Region will be on building the education marketplace through the acquisition of new clients.
Stewart Burleigh has joined GDS as an Account Manager focusing on the Corpus Christi and Victoria, Texas markets. Mr. Burleigh brings more than 12 years of K-12 education sales and marketing experience and has specialized in E-Rate for the past two years. In addition, Stewart has outside volunteer activities with the Boy Scouts and the Third Coast Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force.
Ms. Berger and her team are focusing on how networks, IP telephony and other technologies can be used to improve teaching and learning.
