Santa Clarita, CA, and Alameda, CA - September 8, 2003 - SageGroup Strategies announces that it has opened a SGS Office in Santa Clarita, CA, as another step in SageGroup's major California expansion program. SGS has several SGS Offices in California, and it plans to soon open several more. Santa Clarita is a dynamic "new" (in name) city located just north of Los Angeles.  It was formed in 1987 by combining the established towns of Valencia, Newhall, Saugus, and Canyon Country.  It is rapidly growing, continuing a trend that included a 35.5% growth rate from 1990 to 2000. It occupies about one-fourth of the 200-square-miles Santa Clarita Valley about 35 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.  It has many established and new companies, a population of about 180,000, and a continuing influx of many more people and companies. Additionally, it is only a short distance from the industry-abundant San Fernando Valley.

Besides its major focus on the Santa Clarita Valley, the SGS Santa Clarita Office will also be involved in serving SGS clients and helping to open other SGS Offices within a broader geographical area in which it is located centrally.  This area includes the cities of  Los Angeles (which itself has a population of over 3.5 million), Oxnard, Santa Barbara, Bakersfield, San Bernardino, and Long Beach.
