ARTIST STATEMENT: I create art in an attempt to capture the transient beauty found in nature"

An up and coming artist Rachel Ziegler follows in the footsteps of the towering figure, Georgias OKeefe. Raw Fusion", a solo exhibition, provides the public with a rare opportunity to view the floral abstraction of nature through Rachels private vision of her hometown of Ketchum, Idaho. Rachels work is a version of still life from nature, essentially an organic collection of a day in the wilds. Using technology relatively new to creative art, digital imaging, she creates a vision that captures the details and emotions of nature. Her work is currently available in a variety of mediums that include silk, canvas and watercolor paper.
