El Paso, TX (PRWEB) September 29, 2003 --The Lullaby Closet, Inc. spearheads drives to collect necessary items for children not available through programs such as WIC, Medicaid, or Food Stamps. The Lullaby Closet, Inc. plans to work in conjunction with these types of programs to ensure childrens basic needs are being met.

The Lullaby Closet, Inc. will provide necessary items to children, with limitations being set depending upon the amount of donations on hand. Individuals who wish to receive items for their children may either be referred by a participating agency, or call Kimberly directly to set up an appointment for qualification.
Currently, if a family qualifies for WIC, Medicaid, TANF, or Food Stamps, they automatically qualify for assistance through The Lullaby Closet, Inc. as well. There are other qualifying alternatives, as well, if a family doesnt receive these benefits. Please contact Kimberly for more information at (915) 751-8312.
The Lullaby Closet, Inc. relies on donations from individuals and organizations. Items may be delivered to Kimberly or she will arrange pick up of donations. Items being collected immediately are unopened diapers and wipes, and new or gently used clothing, shoes, and blankets. Please keep in mind when donating this organization is for children aged newborn through five years old. At this time, we cant accept items in adult sizes.
Collection drives will be initiated regularly to guarantee requested items. There is no cost involved for businesses, organizations, or individuals that donate or refer individuals to The Lullaby Closet, Inc.
Volunteers to collect items are welcomed. Monetary donations are also being accepted.
The Lullaby Closet, Inc. is a non-profit organization in the state of Texas. The Lullaby Closet, Inc. has begun the application process for a 501c3 status from the Internal Revenue Service. Once this status is granted, all donations are tax deductible.
Kimberly Fletcher has taken part in the Arthritis Jingle Bell Run to benefit the Arthritis Foundation, Giving Tree to benefit local families, Angel Tree to benefit children who are separated from their parents during holidays, and Make A Difference Day to benefit local shelters and food pantries. She organized a Christmas Carol Sing-a-Long at a retirement home, and worked consistently with a grade school to introduce children to the benefits of giving through donating canned goods to a Salvation Army food pantry. Kimberly was also the Executive Director of the Salvation Army Safe Harbor homeless shelter in Illinois, and was also the founder of Surprise Someone, Inc., a non-profit organization that provided a Career Closet, offering professional clothing, free of charge, for individuals interviewing and entering the workforce.
