Berwick Bed & Breakfast has been awarded TOP HONORS in North American Inns Magazine's BEDROOM OF THE YEAR contest!

Berwick, Nova Scotia, Canada - ANNAPOLIS BED & BREAKFAST is pleased to announce it has been awarded FIRST PLACE honours in North American Inns Magazine's 2003 Bedroom of the Year contest. Entries from across North America were submitted in four categories: Bed& Breakfast, Intimate Inn, Inn or Resort.

Innkeepers and readers were invited to submit favourite bedrooms that had been restored or revitalized using cost effective methods for room beautification. Before and after photos and a description of improvements and costs were considered.

Carol Stewart and Jill Smith, mother and daughter hosts of the Annapolis Bed & Breakfast were delighted at the news of the award. They submitted their "African Room" because it has become a favourite for people looking for a getaway. "Popularity for the African Room just keeps growing," said Smith.

The African Room, with its darkly romantic ambience is the perfect place to unwind for a romantic evening. The two-person heart-shaped Jacuzzi tub and cherry wood sleigh bed with mosquito netting canopy offer total relaxation. African memorabilia and a stunning African sunset wall mural add to the mystique of this bedroom.
