The editors of River King Poetry Press, a non-profit press based in Freeburg, Illinois, U.S.A. have announced publication of their first poetry anthology NEW CENTURY NORTH AMERICAN POETS.

"We've published poets from across the continent," says River King's founder, poet Wayne Lanter of Smithton, Ill. "And we've arranged the book chronologically by birth year, ranging from 1916-1993.It's a really unusual book."

Lanter's co-editors are Vista Community College President John Garmon of Berkeley, Ca. and poet Donna Biffar of Smithton, Ill. Garmon's poems have appeared in numerous journals including Ploughshares, Prairie Schooner, Southern Poetry Review, Southern Humanities Review, Atlanta Review, and other journals. He is the author of the poetry collection CLAM DIGGERS. Donna Biffar is the author of two books of poetry, and two chapbooks.
