Xabler Announces Release of Lutron HomeWorks Interactive Interface

Product allows control of HomeWorks system from wireless devices, internet or any browser enabled device.

Provo, December 15, 2002: Xabler today announced the release of a control interface for the Lutron HomeWorks Interactive automation system. The interface allows control of the HomeWorks system on wireless devices capable of operating Internet browsers. The release also broadens the availability of Xabler wireless controls to homeowners currently using Lutron technology.

Release of the interface will reduce or eliminate additional programming of wireless devices such as web tablets, handheld computers, and Internet appliances when used in conjunction with Lutron home automation and lighting controls.
The Xabler system is installed on top of the Lutron system in under an hour," says Xabler Chief Technology Officer Kent Gividen. Our software reads the programming commands from the Lutron system and translates them into buttons and graphical controls on the Webtablet, computer or wireless device."
