How to start a nanotechnology business
A humorous presentation "The Dummy's Guide to Starting a Nanotechnology Business" has been released for public viewing.
The growth of interest in nanotechnology has resulted in significant investment in startups as well as a dramatic growth in the number of companies moving into the nanotechnology arena.
Glenn Fishbine, author of "The Investor's Guide to Nanotechnology & Micromachines" presented a guide to starting a nanotechnology business to the Yale Entrepreneurial Society in 2002. He has recently released this presentation to the web.
"In spite of the current economic conditions, I think it's time we sat back and laughed at ourselves from time to time," Fishbine said. "While some claim that nanotechnology is the next big thing, I think we should remember that molecular manufacturing started thousands of years ago when mankind started brewing beer. I think every entrepreneur should kick back, relax, and remember that starting a business is as much an attitude as a technology. I hope this presentation inspires as much as it entertains.
