bmd wireless AG, the world's leading supplier of interactive cross network messaging solutions, today announced that the company has added new features and functionality to the Personal Call Collector (PCC) - an innovative solution that captures attempted/missed calls when a wireless subscriber is out of coverage or not reachable, generating on average 4 -5% incremental uplift in voice revenue.
January 16, 2003 -- Zug, Switzerland -- bmd wireless AG, the world's leading supplier of interactive cross network messaging solutions, today announced that the company has added new features and functionality to the Personal Call Collector (PCC) - an innovative solution that captures attempted/missed calls when a wireless subscriber is out of coverage or not reachable, generating on average 4 -5% incremental uplift in voice revenue.
The PCC is a powerful platform that notifies the called party with the telephone number and date/time of the calls, number of attempted/missed calls and delivers the information by sending a short message. The PCC generates new billable interactions through outbound voice traffic (call backs), incoming calls and additional short messages. The solution is a complementary service offering with traditional voice mail and can be easily integrated with existing voice mail systems.
