The finalists for the 2003 EPPIE awards recognizing the best in electronically published literature were recently announced in Tampa, Florida. This juried contest selects the top entries in twenty genres. The winners will be announced March 8th at the fourth annual EPPIE awards banquet as part of the 2003 EPIC Writers Conference.
Finalists include Southern author C C Hammond, a Horror finalist for her novel The Other Side of the Door, published by Echelon Press.
"It's wonderful to be honored as a finalist," CC Hammond said. "It's a good sign for our country when horror that doesn't rely on excessive violence, or on romance for it's chills is recognized."
