Fagliarone Group CPAs Announces Several Employee Promotions

SYRACUSE, N.Y., January 21, 2002 - Fagliarone Group CPAs, P.C. recently announced the promotion of several of its employees: James N. D'Imperio, CPA, was promoted to Audit Manager; Michael H. Kinney, CPA, CFE, was promoted to Tax Manager; and Philip D. Zollo III, CPA, was promoted to Tax Manager. The following individuals were promoted to Tax Supervisor: Mario U. Bottoni, CPA; Kari M. Dalton, CPA; and Kelly M. Peirson, CPA. Karen M. Youngs, CPA, was promoted to Audit Supervisor.

Dalton, CPA; and Kelly M. Peirson, CPA. Karen M. Youngs, CPA, was promoted to Audit Supervisor.

James N. D'Imperio, CPA, as audit manager will be responsible for supervising accounting and audit service engagements, including audits of financial statements and review of internal controls. He works with clients that include financial institutions, such as banks, credit unions and securities brokers/dealers. He has eight years of experience working at public accounting firms. A Liverpool resident, D'Imperio graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego.
   
Michael K. Kinney, CPA, CFE, as tax manager will be responsible for small business taxation and forensic accounting. He is experienced at detecting occupational fraud. Kinney works primarily with local small businesses. He has close to 15 years experience in public accounting. An Elbridge resident, Kinney graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego.

   Philip D. Zollo III, CPA, as tax manager will be responsible for oversight of tax planning and preparation for a variety of business and individual clients. He also manages financial statement preparation and business valuation projects. Zollo has nine years of experience in public accounting. A Westvale resident, he graduated from LeMoyne College.

   Mario U. Bottoni, CPA, as tax supervisor will be responsible for tax planning and preparation for a variety of business and individual clients, including corporations and partnerships. He also provides small business consulting services and financial software set-up, training and consulting. Bottoni has five years of accounting experience. A Bridgeport resident, Bottoni graduated from LeMoyne College.

   Kari M. Dalton, CPA, as a tax supervisor will be responsible for tax planning and preparation for partnerships, individuals, corporation and S-corporation clients. She has five years of public accounting experience. A Lafayette resident, she is a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo.

   Kelly M. Peirson, CPA, as a tax supervisor will be responsible for tax and financial statement preparation for individuals, S-corporations and partnerships. She also provides financial software training to small and mid-sized companies. She has five years of public accounting experience. A Syracuse resident, Peirson is a LeMoyne College graduate.

   Karen M. Youngs, CPA, as audit supervisor will be responsible for auditing the firm's financial institution, nonprofit organization and small business clients. She is also responsible for the preparation of financial statement and 990 Tax Returns. Youngs has four years experience in public accounting and eighteen years experience working at financial institutions. A Liverpool and Watertown resident, she graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego.
