FIRST NATIONAL MERCHANT SOLUTIONS DEVELOPS THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY IN BATCH SYSTEMS

Omaha, Neb. – First National Merchant Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of First National Bank of Omaha, has released a new proprietary batch credit card processing product, First Batch Authorization System".

First Batch Authorization System meets the needs of merchants who seek flexibility, ease of use and enhanced profitability with a batch system. The new product provides a batch authorization solution for merchants who obtain non-face-to-face transactions that do not require real time authorization.

Because of our financial institution ownership, merchants can be assured of receiving a reliable service from a secure environment that adheres to strict federal banking regulations and Internet standards," said Stephen Zubrod, senior vice president of marketing for First National Merchant Solutions.

One technical feature of the new batch solution is the reauthorization functionality" which can be utilized on recurring and installment transactions, increasing the number of settlement opportunities for the merchant. This feature complements the existing service provided to merchants for managing interchange.

First National Merchant Solutions focus is to develop traditional third party products in-house, such as First Batch Authorization System, eliminating the need for customers to go through multiple channels for customer service and technical support.

We continue to invest significant time and resources to develop cutting-edge products. We listened to our customers, anticipated the need for a reliable, secure batching solution and the end result is in a superior product known as First Batch Authorization System," said Zubrod.
