Seattle based Route Vision System, RVS, announces the release of Accident Track ©, the worlds first independent imaging based driver management module. Accident Track is a stand-alone product capable of running on most CE 3.0/Pocket PC and CE.Net, Portable devices. However, Accident Track's real value shines through when installed on imaging based devices produced by Handheld Products, (HHP) or Intermec.

Accident Track is the first information gathering system that allows fleet drivers, sales representatives or merchandisers to record and document vehicle events while in the field, at the time it occurs, prior to returning to the home facility. It specifically tracks accident reporting or damage, vehicle inspection and service request. In real time systems this information is downloaded directly to the Supervisor or Human Resource contact for immediate damage control. In batch applications it is downloaded as soon as the driver returns to the home facility.

Accident Track logically addresses Driver Management. Are your vehicle inspections not completed or timely? Accident Track prompts the driver for inspections based on company requirements. Inspections are verified either through the trust system or through the use of key point Bar Code Identifiers located at points on the vehicle. As a driver do you require service to your vehicle? Accident track files service request's directly from the portable device. Great for out of town field representatives.

I've just been in an accident, what do I do? Accident Track walks you through logical steps to gather the required information. This includes when installed on an imaging device the photographic documentation of vehicle damage and property damage. Accident reports are categorized by reportable and non-reportable events. This single function allows you to control your liability, accurately report the event and contain insurance costs!
