Bookstores, Libraries to Sponsor "Fish Lips Face" Photo Contests

In conjunction with author/illustrator Janan Cain's U.S. tour, libraries and bookstores are sponsoring photo contests where kids can imitate the face on the cover of Cain's "The Way I Feel."

If you're a bookstore or a library looking for a way to get kids through your doors, here's your chance to sponsor a "Fish Lips Face Photo Contest" that ties into author/illustrator Janan Cain's visits around the U.S. through 2004.

Parenting Press of Seattle, Cain's publisher, is offering free autographed copies of her book, "The Way I Feel," as prizes in local "Fish Lips Face Photo" contests. The cover of "The Way I Feel" shows a child hanging upside down with lips pursed "fish" style--an image inspired by Cain's own daughter.
