New York, NY [Oct. 1, 2003] - David M. Samuels has been named to the newly created position of President, Espositos Finest Quality Sausage Products. Prior to his promotion, Samuels served as General Manager of Operations and Logistics for the company, which is New York Citys only major producer of fresh sausage products.
   Mr. Samuels, who graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany, sees opportunities to grow Espositos Finest Quality Sausage Products without tampering with a proven formula. In his new role, he stands fully committed to maintaining the recipes and traditions of the seventy-year-old company.
   Mr. Samuels initial concentration will be on the implementation and growth of Espositos all natural, antibiotic- and hormone-free line of sausages. According to the National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA), the natural foods sector is growing at a pace that is 14-15 times faster than the total overall U.S. food business.
