NEW EMBASSY SUITES HEATS UP FOOD & BEVERAGE OPERATION
New Assistant Gen. Mgr / F&B Director Cooks Up New Menus
John Q. Hammons Hotels names Michael J. Jobst F&B Manager for its newest property, Embassy Suites Hot Springs, scheduled to open November 18, 2003.
HOT SPRINGS, AR, September 29, 2003 -- Michael J. Jobst has stepped up to the plate as the new Assistant General Manager and Food & Beverage Director for Embassy Suites, Hot Springs. Scheduled to open November 18, the full-service hotel is the newest property being developed by John Q. Hammons Hotels.
Jobsts 15-year career in the hospitality industry began with another John Q. Hammons property , the Holiday Inn of northwest Arkansas.
The training I received working at Holiday Inn as Banquet Manager, Food & Beverage Director and Assistant General Manager provided a solid foundation for advancement," he comments. Jobsts daily responsibilities include providing complimentary breakfasts for guests in all 250 suites, as well as coordination of the Managers Reception, held each afternoon in a separate area of the hotel.
We are currently developing menus for all the food and beverage areas," he explains. Our restaurant, Bistro 400, will feature classic American cuisine with a family-friendly flavor. Cascades Piano Lounge will provide a seasonal variety of specialty items. Complete banquet and catering services, including traditional as well as thematic menus, will be available to serve clients using our 3800 square feet of convention space."
Embassy Suites
In addition to 250 guest suites, the hotel comprises an executive boardroom and three 1000-square-foot meeting rooms. The only John Q. Hammons property to feature an in-house day spa as well as fitness facilities and pools, the full-service hotel is located within walking distance of historic Bathhouse Row. Covered walkways provide easy access to the Hot Springs Convention Center and Summit Arena.
