John Q. Hammons names Barrie Kiger-Nagy Sales Director for their newest property, Embassy Suites-Hot Springs, scheduled to open November 18, 2003.

HOT SPRINGS, AR, September 29, 2003 - Barrie Kiger-Nagy has assumed the new post of Sales Director for John Q. Hammons Hotels’ newest property, Embassy Suites Hot Springs.

“We’re fortunate to have the benefit of Ms. Kiger-Nagy’s experience and professionalism,” says the hotel’s General Manager, Kurt Schatzl. “Her personal leadership style of motivating others and her keen sense for innovation make her an asset for our local management team.”

Winner of the 1999 and 2000 Gold Key Awards from Hospitality Marketing Solutions, Kiger-Nagy has nearly a decade of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. Prior to joining Embassy Suites, she honed her sales management skills with the Hilton Hot Springs & Convention Center, the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas, TX, and the Austin Hotel and Convention Center in Hot Springs.

Kiger-Nagy will spearhead the local Embassy Suites sales staff to market the 250-suite, full-service hotel to individuals, groups and corporate clients.

The Embassy Suites Hot Springs will comprise 250 guest suites, an executive boardroom and three 1000-square-foot meeting rooms. The only John Q. Hammons hotel to feature an in-house day spa as well as fitness facilities and pools, the full-service hotel is located within walking distance of historic Bathhouse Row. Covered walkways provide easy access to the Hot Springs Convention Center and Summit Arena.
