Pelletron Corporation Hires Paul Wagner, Former Coperion Executive, as Vice President of Sales
Pelletron continues corporate restructuring with addition of former Coperion executive to its sales team.
LANCASTER, Pa., Oct. 2, 2003 -- Pelletron Corporation has announced the addition of a second former Coperion employee to its executive team. Paul Wagner, former vice president of sales for Ramsey, N.J.-based Coperion, will hold the same position with Pelletron, the pioneer of dedusting technology and manufacturer of the Pelletron Deduster. Heinz Schneider, former vice president of trading for Coperion and founder of the U.S. division of Waeschle, was named President and CEO of Pelletron in September.
The appointments of Wagner and Schneider are part of a corporate restructuring by Pelletron designed to launch the company into a period of aggressive growth and expansion.
Pauls expertise in pneumatic conveying systems will enhance Pelletrons ability to provide complete slow motion, dense phase solutions for our customers," Schneider said. His joining the staff is an important step in our goal to grow significantly in the future."
Wagner worked closely with Schneider in the mid-1990s in establishing the U.S. division of Waeschle, which later merged with two other companies -- Buss and Werner & Pfleiderer -- to form Coperion. While in his previous position, Wagner helped introduce the concept of dense-phase pneumatic conveying technology to the U.S. He started his career as a mechanical engineer with Thyssen Henschel, a Germany-based producer of mixing equipment.
The changing dynamics in the material handling industry required that Pelletron take the necessary actions to remain competitive," said Jerry Paulson, founder and chairman of the board for Pelletron. Having Paul lead our sales team, in addition to the recent appointment of Heinz Schneider as president and CEO, puts the company in excellent position to expand its influence and increase our sales."
Our focus will be to help our customers in plastics, pharmaceuticals, food, and other industries improve their processing capabilities by providing tailored solutions to address the many challenges of material handling," Wagner said.
