FSI has updated their website by adding calculators that allow their customers to anticipate the performance and fit of fiber optic bundles.

FSI has updated their website to include calculators that allow their customers to anticipate the performance and fit of fiber optic bundles. The calculators are;

Web Calculator Converters - Convert transmission and decibels, temperature, angle and numerical aperture, and length.

Web Calculator FiberLoss - Calculate fiber internal transmission, reflection loss, clad/core area ratios, and external transmission.

Web Calculator Illumination - Calculate the illumination circle size both with or without a lens.

Web Calculator Mechanics - Calculate the diameter of the legs and the common bundle, the number of fibers in a bundle, the length of fiber, and the optimal number of fibers for best packing.
