"Living in Limbo? " Upcoming Seminar Offers Hope; New Perspectives

Upcoming Seminar in Dallas goes beyond the typical workshops and resources available for people in career transition by addressing the heart and soul of unemployment and offering new hope and inspiring perspectives.

"If you're finding yourself caught up in the anxious, chaotic swirl of negative thinking, stressed and desperate interviewing and futile resume-blasting," says Lisa Olson, of Living in Limbo, "you may be throwing away the opportunity of a lifetime."

Living in Limbo is an uplifting, multi-faceted seminar that will cover topics such as

  • The hidden gifts of unemployment (yes, gifts!)
  • "Why am I here?" Discovering your life's purpose, at any age
  • Your "Inner Career Counselor"- intuitive job searching
  • Ace the interview: phenomenal answers to the toughest questions

The seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 10am to 2pm, at Central Market, 5750 E. Lovers in Dallas, and includes lunch and snacks, workbook, and a free resume review and private consultation coupon. The cost of the workshop is $39.

Lisa Olson, with an extensive background in recruiting, interview coaching, career mentoring and workshop facilitating, offers a new perspective for what she calls "living in limbo"- the in-between period of uncertainty and transition.

Participants will be motivated and inspired in ways not offered in "typical, run-of-the-mill job-search" workshops and resources.

By addressing the spiritual and emotional implications of unemployment, attendees will not learn how to survive the limbo, but how they can actually thrive in the limbo, transforming their situation into a positive, life-changing experience.

More information is available by calling Lisa Olson at 972-814-6243 or e-mailing lisa_c_olson@yahoo.com.

"Yes, living in limbo can be frightening." Olson says. "But fear can be a terrible energy drain and a lousy motivator. When you're operating out of panic or worry, you miss out on the gifts in your situation. Yes, there ARE gifts in your situation, if you're willing to find them."
