Mortar wins art assignment. Firm named agency of record for Montserrat College of Art.

San Francisco, CA (October 4, 2003)--Montserrat College of Art has selected San Francisco-based integrated marketing firm Mortar to handle branding and enrollment marketing.

After a two-month review involving five agencies, Montserrat College of Art has selected San Francisco-based integrated marketing firm Mortar to handle branding and enrollment marketing.

Responsibilities will include development of a new identity program as well as advertising, direct marketing, and Web-based initiatives for the 400-student institution located on Bostons North Shore.

We found Mortars energy, ideas, and enthusiasm for our challenges very exciting," said Montserrat President Stan Trecker. Most of all we felt they were very in tune with the kind of institution we are and how we wish to be presented. We were swept away by the concepts they presented."

This goes beyond marketing to students," said Mortars Todd Ransick. Parents, alumni, donors, and, of course, faculty are all key to growing the brand. The challenge is in reaching out to each of these core audiences and building on Montserrats strong sense of community. Our integrated approach will really work well. This is a great school.
