Talk To The Future's "DEFINING AMERICA" Contest Offers $10,000 Prize

Talk To The Future, the pioneer in preserving American culture, today announced the Defining America Contest – giving Americans an opportunity to express and characterize their personal view of the American experience while preserving their memories and personal mementos in a digital scrapbook. The grand prize is $10,000.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 3 2003 – Talk To The Future, the pioneer in preserving American culture, today announced the Defining America Contest – giving Americans an opportunity to express and characterize their personal view of the American experience while preserving their memories and personal mementos in a digital scrapbook. The grand prize is $10,000.

The contest is divided into two categories, American Identity" and American Life" and is open to anyone over the age of 13.    Contestants have the opportunity to win $10,000 in prize money based on the best submissions of photography, music, literature, music and related digital media. Additionally, grand finalists automatically become part of Talk To The Futures Preservation Project, having their name engraved on a national monument, and their submission added to a specially
designed Digital Time Capsule.

Submissions will be accepted immediately until July 4, 2004 and will be reviewed based on a Peoples Choice voting poll. Talk To The Future, LLC, is a pioneer in preserving and archiving popular American culture. The companys Preservation Project comprises a Digital Time Capsule and Americas Monument allowing Americans to submit their own personal artifacts to be archived in a publicly accessible monument. Talk To The Future leverages state-of-the-art digital technology that will digitize capsule artifacts and protect them for up to 10,000 years. The final contents of the Digital Time Capsule will be preserved within a permanent landmark in America.
