NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- Metro Event Planners, a New York City based Event Production Firm decided to take the popular dating events (Speed Dating, 6-Minute Dating, 7-Minute Dating, etc) and apply it to networking. Usually Networking Events bring a whole bunch of great contacts into one place, but its hard to meet everyone. You either get stuck with one person all night or are too shy to go up to a stranger and introduce yourself and ask them what they do. It can be very uncomfortable and frustrating!

With 5-Minute Networking," Metro Event Planners makes Networking Events more effective and easier for attendees to meet everyone who attends!

How It Works: Each Networker has a few minutes to chat with a fellow Networker to exchange business cards & ideas. Then the whistle blows, and it's time to move on to your business contact. Attendees enjoy one-on-one conversations with several business contacts plus have the chance to mix and mingle with all the Networkers before the event and during the break.

This is how a Networking Event should be -- easy and effective!
