Boulder music producer Chances End to have song on highly-anticipated computer game Breed

Chances End, a Colorado breakbeat electronica producer, will have a track included on the in-game soundtrack from the forthcoming computer game Breed from German publisher CDV Software Entertainment. Chance's End received the licensing opportunity by entering and winning a music competition hosted by Globact.com. He is the only artist not from Germany or Finland to be included on the soundtrack.

Boulder, CO (PRWEB) October 6, 2003 -- Chances End, a Boulder breakbeat electronica producer, will have a track included on the in-game soundtrack from the forthcoming computer game Breed from German publisher CDV Software Entertainment. Breed has been dubbed the Halo-killer" by many computer gaming magazines, in reference to the Xbox game that has dominated the first-person shooter genre as of late.

Chances End, also known as Ryan Avery, entered his song Platinum Prawn" in a contest back in April 2003. The contest called on musicians worldwide to submit songs to be considered for placement in Breed. The results were announced, and Chances End was one of thirteen artists chosen for inclusion in the soundtrack, and the only artist not from either Germany or Finland.

As a result of being chosen, Platinum Prawn" will be heard in the games multiplayer modes. The song will also be included on a separate audio CD to be bundled with the game in a limited-edition 'fan package.

Getting a song licensed on such a highly-anticipated video game like Breed is a big coup for an independent artist such as myself," Avery stated in response to the games upcoming release. My music will be heard by an incredible amount of people worldwide, which will hopefully lead to more opportunities like this further down the road." The fact that he is the only artist chosen from the USA has not escaped him, but Ryan remains modest. Its very easy to get a big head over something like this, but I know that I just sent the right song to the right people at the right time."

Breed is expected to be released in the USA, UK, and Germany in mid-November 2003.
