Michelle Van Velzen, 1999 Graduate of CSULB Fine Art Department with a BFA in Drawing and Painting, and Single Subject Credentialed Art Educator (2001) in LBUSD at Bancroft Middle School, will be presenting her fine oil paints along with her brother, Erik and his wife, Christine's photography. The theme for this show is "Inspiring Images". The oils range from floral to abstract, surrealistic scenery. The photographs are originals prepared by Erik and Christine. All oils from Michelle have been recently painted within this last year in preparation for this show. The opening reception is during the Second Saturday Art Walk November 8th from 6pm to 10pm, sponsored by Gallery 117. Gallery 117, 117 Linden, is a co-op Gallery in the East Arts District of Down Town Long Beach, California.
