Atlanta, GA, October 5, 2003 - The Buckhead School of Music and Arts proudly announces its grand opening on November 10, 2003 at 5920 Roswell Road in Atlanta, Georgia. The center will offer private lessons and small group classes in guitar, piano, cello, violin, banjo, mandolin, as well as voice, songwriting, acting, music appreciation and music theory. Additional programs will include birthday parties, workshops, daytime and summer camp for children ages 3 and older. The school is dedicated to creating an atmosphere that will encourage students to reach their full potential and creative goals in a comfortable and friendly environment.
"It's exciting to open a unique teaching facility that offers novices to experienced performers a place to excel in a variety of genres from classic rock and bluegrass to modern rock and pop," says owner David Szikman. "In addition to traditional instruments such as piano and strings, we will also offer more nontraditional classes such as 'Be In A Rock Band Class' where we literally create rock bands with our students. We strive to provide an environment where the students will become better musicians and learn faster by playing and interacting with other students and teachers."
The Buckhead School of Music and Arts will provide original programs for all ages and levels of experience. The center will encourage creative expression and promote self-discovery in music and arts.
