I2C Host Adaptor IC connects PC's to ALL serial bus IC's economically.

The new BL233 host adaptor IC, connects I2C, SPI, and Dallas 1-wire IC's to computers. Facilitating fast, easy equipment design, it is used for production testing, ATE, data logging. BL233 is the first solution that interfaces all serial buses, and is priced for volume use.

The BL233 (http://www.i2cchip.com) is an easy way to use ubiquitous serial interface IC's (I2C, SPI,1-wire) with computers.

Used by major electronics and automotive companies in production test of equipment that uses serial bus IC's, as well as for testing IC's themselves.

They are also ideal for quickly designing computer interfaces, ATE devices, data loggers, watchdog timers for computers etc.

Uniquely the BL233 has 3 separate serial buses, and can perform power-on, watchdog, and interrupt sequences autonomously from its internal macro store.

Fully built up host adaptors with USB and RS232 interfaces are available. These work with all operating systems, including handheld devices. They can include galvanic isolation for safety and noise critical applications.

The BL233 is an enhanced version of the BL232, which is still available for high volume users at the lowest price.
