A Danger to Society, Michael Allen releases new novel.
With the release of his latest title, Michael Allen is establishing himself a writer among writers. His style edges whispers of the greatest voices in literature. He handles contemporary themes with a masterful combination of humor and seriousness. His latest book promises to be his best work yet.
Michael Allen has just released his latest title "A Danger to Society" through Lulu Enterprises. It was a "must" to write, Allen says since authors rarely cover the hypocrisies that exist in the legal system. From the officer to the judge, Michael Allen dispels the common myths surrounding a system put in place to protect people. Of those myths, Allen says he has encountered agendas that purposely attempt to destroy lives. Written in a humorous tone, the serious content is easier to handle but no less important.
Using his own name for the protagonist in this fact based account, Michael Allen had a pretty good life. He had obtained everything he ever wanted since his early childhood years. After a distinguished career in the Marine Corps, he put himself through school to become an English teacher. He met a beautiful lady and married her. They had a daughter together. They bought a house. His American Dream was complete.
When the marriage ended, Mike found himself at a loss for answers. Allowing himself to fall from the heights he had reached, Mike begins a pattern of drinking and isolation that is destined to spin him out of control. His house falls down around him while he sits calmly in the middle of it comforted by the loneliness.
Eventually his life catches up with him. Introduced to jail for the first time in his life, his stay makes him very aware of a system warped with hypocrisy and ignorance. Becoming the student once again, Mike goes on an exploration of the greatest ironies existent in the so-called free world. His experiences in the courtroom educate him on the workings of what he terms the "other" railroad in town. His experiences as an inmate educate him in the crime world and tempt him to choose that as a life. What he learns about the actual circumstances of his arrest plants the seeds of vengeance in his already aggravated mind. It will take some serious debriefing after leaving jail if Mike is ever to think along proper lines again. Planning to go toe to toe with the good ol boy network waging war against him, Michael Allen has never been the type of guy to sit and take anything.
Michael Allen's other titles include "Truly Roughing It: A Guide for the Lone Camper" and "Where and How We Live: A Look at New Urbanism." His latest work is an absolute labor of love for the craft of writing. Written from personal experience, "A Danger to Society" is bound to be his best work presently. Soon to be listed on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, copies are available now at http://www.lulu.com/content/18822.
