New Arts Program to Local Schools.

Four-to-eight week writing, acting and stagecraft program available to Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Ventura County public and private schools.

For students interested in the theater arts, PeachTree Theater Company has just the ticket -- a four-to-eight week professional theater writing, acting and stagecraft program, which is currently being offered to Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Ventura County schools. The PeachTree program, which premiered this summer at the Oak Grove School in Ojai, offers an intensive theater experience and provides students with a unique opportunity to explore and develop their creativity.

Program creator and director Demitri Corbin, a 20-year veteran theater actor, writer and producer, leads the multi-faceted program which includes voice, movement, speech, stage design, and playwriting workshops. Were excited about being able to bring our theater arts program to schools throughout the local counties" Corbin says, We know that the schools will want to take advantage of the opportunity to offer an exceptional live performance and stagecraft experience to their students."

In addition to the core theatre arts program, PeachTree Theatre Company offers a broad range of workshops from contributing local artists, including classes such as video production, songwriting, oceanography and tee-pee building, all of which are made available through PeachTrees educational partnership efforts within the local creative community.
