PREDISPOSED TO PREJUDICE? Proof that Prohibiting Racial Bias Wont Stop Racism (Rainier, WA)- This October Californians will vote on the Racial Privacy Initiative which would prohibit any government agency in California from collecting data on race, ethnicity, color or national origin and using it to classify those involved in public education, public contracting or public employment. Even if it passes, the initiative wont curb the blinding waves of prejudice that often prevent minorities from getting into prestigious schools or being hired for certain jobs.
