Tempest Productions announces Invasion:Anime's screening times for the Savannah Film Festival

Dallas, TX, -- October 7, 2003 - Dallas-based Tempest Production Company has announced their screening schedule for their documentary feature, Invasion: Anime, at the Savannah Film Festival. The documentary will be shown at noon at the historic Trustees Theater on Monday, October 27 and 3 p.m. at the Lucas Theater on October 29. Producer/director Angie Alexander and editor Mike Hathaway will also participate in industry panel discussions at the festival.
Tempest has recently been invited to screen the documentary at the 2003 Midwest Entertainment Industry Conference (MEIC) in Lexington, KY and the 2004 Sci-Fi-London Film Festival, sponsored by the UK Sci-Fi Channel in London, England. MEIC will be held November 13-16, 2003 and the Sci-Fi-London festival is scheduled for January 31-February 2, 2004. Specific screening times and dates for these events are currently unavailable.
Invasion: Anime most recently screened in September at the Sliverlake Film Festival in Los Angeles and the Great Lakes International Film Festival in Pennsylvania.
Invasion: Anime is a broad look at the history of Japanese animation (or "anime") and its effect on American culture and entertainment over the last half-century.
