Affordable, Accessible and Effective Tutor Training Offered in Washington, DC
In response to the increased demand for tutors in communities and schools across America, the National Center for Training and Educational Assistance (NCTEA), a network of experienced educational service providers, announced today it will begin offering one-day training for tutors and those looking to start a tutoring business.
(Washington, DC -- October 13, 2003) --- In response to the increased demand for tutors in communities and schools across America, the National Center for Training and Educational Assistance (NCTEA), a network of experienced educational service providers, announced today it will begin offering one-day training for tutors and those looking to start a tutoring business.
A first series of one-day classes will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18, Tuesday, Nov. 4 and Saturday Nov. 15, from 9 am -- 5 pm at NCTEA. Parking is available and the location is steps from the Van Ness Metro Stop at 4401 Connecticut Ave in Washington, DC.
Participants at any of the one-day trainings will receive the Tutor Trek training effort including a training manual, curriculum training, tips on running a successful business, training by an experienced doctoral level teacher, and upon completion, a General Education Tutor Certificate. The cost of the class is $150. Groups can obtain additional discounts.
