Renegade Babe creator Karen Allen knows that babies rock, and that parents dont have to stop being cool when they have them!

A 10-year veteran of the music industry, Karens line of rocker chic", faux fur baby blankets were created with rock icons like Steven Tyler, Ozzy Osbourne and Robert Plant in mind...with Karen thinking, what would blend in on a tour bus?" Not all parents are drawn to pink, blue, fuzzy duckies and the like, so Karen decorates her black, eggplant, lavender and tiger print blankets with gothic crosses, fleur de lis and signature phrases like hey baby". Renegade Babe was created in 2003 when Karen began making scarves with iconic rock images on them for her friends for Christmas. They all wanted to order them for their friends, and soon they were in tastemaker boutiques like Madison in L.A. A friend suggested she do baby blanket-sized versions of the scarves...and Renegade Babe was born.

Other Renegade Babe accessories include grey cotton corduroy bibs with fun, rebellious mottos like spitfaced", kid vicious" and renegade babe" sewn on with black thread. Matching black, cap-sleeve t-shirts for moms and babies feature renegade babe" on the front, and the companys tag line, babies rock!" on the back. All products are machine washable.

Since Karen began producing her line for babies, the blankets have become the gift among music industry insiders. Executives, journalists, A&R reps and musicians have them adorning their sofas, beds and cribs.
