Yakima, Washington (PRWEB) October 10, 2003, Christa McAuliffe Academy, Cabin River Web Solutions, and High End Communications announced today the public launch of EverythingYakima.com, a state-of-the-art website that will serve as a focal point for gathering and sharing information throughout the entire Yakima Valley. The website is the result of a community-wide effort over the past several months and was initially funded by a federal grant administered by the City of Yakima.

We wanted this site to be more than just a static listing of events and services, said Dr. Glen Blomgren, CEO of Christa McAuliffe Academy and Chairman of the For A Better Tomorrow" sub-committee responsible for the project. 'Our goal was to make it interactive and dynamic, so that everyone in the community has an equal opportunity to post events and publicize programs".

A key feature of EY.com is a dynamic calendar that can support multiple categories and is easily updated by anyone in the community who is willing to register with the webmaster and take responsibility for the content provided.

Another powerful aspect of EY.com is the ability to add categories and content in the directories and then edit/update them at any time.
