New Writer T. S. Brannigan Opens a New Website for Aspiring Writers of Short Stories.

August 2003 A new website was created for writer T. S. Brannigan that specializes in short stories and for the purpose of giving new writers a format to publish their own works.

Free publishing is offered to writers in the form of a web page at www.torysstories.com. This service is offered to writers of short stories who are looking for an outlet for their creative skills or are tired of the rejection that new writers often face when submitting their work to written publications. Along with her own short stories we are aiming to provide a quality outlet for the creative writer.

After several rejections of her own the plan was conceived to publish the work ourselves on the Web. The response to the site has gone better than expected over the last few months with about a thousand hits so far. She believes with additional content from new writers that it will benefit all who contribute short stories, a chance to get read and noticed by those who appreciate a good short story. There are also helpful links available to all.

T. S. Brannigan began writing stories when she was eight years old and selling them to family and friends for 5 cents apiece. After working for the school newspaper she attended New Mexico State University, where her skills blossomed, and she started a collection of short stories of her own. Frustrated with the rejections from publishers, the website began.

This service is free of charge, however T. S. Brannigan will determine the content that is published.
