Its Criminal, and Theyre Getting Away with Murder

Its criminal, and theyre getting away with murder! How many times have you said something like that when your health insurance company refuses to pay for a test or procedure you know should be covered? Bob Mitchell does when such a refusal leads to the death of his wife. Unlike the rest of us, however, he does more than just say it. Blue Vendetta, a 314-page legal thriller by Hugh Ellis, is the spell-binding tale of a courageous young public servant whose attempt to avenge the death of his wife pits him against powerful forces of greed lurking among those entrusted with the protection of our health, our well-being and our lives.

Radford, Virginia (PRWEB) October 13, 2003 -- Its criminal, and theyre getting away with murder!

As district attorney of Allen County, Ind., Mitchell charges the insurance company and its key executives with first degree murder. The pressure brought to bear on him by the insurance industry is immense, but his unwavering determination cannot be thwarted. A suspense-filled courtroom drama unfolds, and the surprise ending is guaranteed to catch the reader off-guard.

Blue Vendetta is a captivating, compelling and highly readable adventure about what happens when a powerful segment of society crosses the bounds of human decency.

Hugh Ellis, who wrote for pleasure throughout childhood, turned writing into a career within the last 10 years. He now lives in southern N.J. with his wife. His current projects include Shortcut, a sequel to the legal thriller Blue Vendetta, and a collection of short stories.

Branch & Vine Publishers, located in Virginia, was started in 1995 and reformed as a LLC in January 2003. The imprints include two science fiction (Otherworlds Sci-Fi & Anvil-Mace) and one print on demand-POD (Ajalon Press). Branch & Vine seeks new voices in literature because they recognize the difficulties in gaining the attention of large publishing companies.
