Mordichai Comes Under Fire from Church Groups
Mordichai Comes Under Fire from Church Groups this week after releasing Exotic One, the latest single from his self-titled debut LP.
Recording superstar, Mordichai comes under fire this week after Church Groups in Alabama, Georgia, and Arkansas declared his music "Satanic and unfit for human consumption. Backwards messeges can be heard in the music, recruiting young people to join with Satan."
Mordichai, a wiccan High Priest and Celtic Shaman stated that the Church Groups were simply doing their job. "Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, that's what America was built on. I'm not going to let this bother me. My music isn't Satanic. It's just music. If they hear messeges in the music, they need to get their ears checked. But I guess they need to pick on somebody. I'm honored. The first rule of Wicca though is 'Do no Harm,' and I'd be a hypocrite if I were to be a Satanist."
Meanwhile, Church Groups in the three states are having a hard time banning the techno recording artist's music due to the fact that his label, Mordichai Music, is only allowing the CDs to be sold online.
The label stated "It's clear that this hasn't affected sales of Mordichai's music. No one can hold a candle to him. It's just his celebrity that has made him a target. People believe if you make a million dollars or more, you're fair game."
Mordichai is the first dance music artist to be targeted thus far.
