7 Year Old Alexandra 'Alex Scott Continues her Fight Against Cancer through her Lemonade Stand Fundraisers. Over the last 3 years she has raised over $150,000 for childhood cancer research, while continuing her own battle against neauroblastoma.

Little Alex Scott, from Wynnewood, PA knows all too well how difficult the battle against cancer is. Although she is just 7 years old, Alex has battled neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood cancer for most of her life.

At the age of 4, Alex had already been fighting cancer for 3 years. She was in the hospital for a stem cell transplant when she told her parents, 'when I get out of the hospital I want to have a lemonade stand. She decided she would not keep the money, she would give it to help her doctors find a cure for childhood cancer. It has been a busy three years since that first stand; Alex has been featured in several national publications and news programs and she has her own non-profit fund called Alexs Lemonade Stand Fund.

Alexs Lemonade Stand has now raised over $150,000 for childhood cancer research with no signs of slowing down. Actually, Alexs plans are expanding. In 2004 lemonade stands will be held across the country on the same day to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

The success of Alexs Lemonade Stand is due to the power of Alexs story, it is due to this little girls determination to find a cure for childhood cancer. Alex has inspired countless others children and adults to help her raise money for pediatric cancer research.
