realMethods Enhances Security Management with JAAS

realMethods announces the release of version 2.6, which now adds JAAS support to the Framework Security service.

The realMethods Framework now adds JAAS support to its security component. The Framework provides 3 different JAAS LoginModule implementations, (file, database, LDAP), and can facilitate the use of any other user/password based LoginModule. Importantly, a developer can define multiple Framework Security Managers within a single file, making each available to an application. An application that leverages a Presentation Tier generated by realMethods Application Infrastructure Builder code generator is automatically provided with integration to a user defined default Security Manager.
